Crack to inner hinge at p. 8. Some light worming to inner margins throughout. A few ink notations to text. First collected edition of the pastoral letters, sermons and orations, issued and pronounced from 1754 to 1777, by Michele Casati, Bishop of Mondovi, Italy. Laid in are four additional pastoral letters (broadsides) from Casati, all bearing the imprint of Baldassarre Rosse, Mondovi, and dated April 10, 1775, May 3, 1779, Sept. 12, 1779, Feb. 15, 1780. These folio broadsides are very attractively printed, with woodcut initials and with the woodcut arms of the Bishop at head. Some light staining and worming to broadsides, but fine overall. Also laid in are two leaves from another volume, entitled Michael Casati Episcopus Verabili Clero Ecclesiae Montisregalis Salutem in Domino, & spiritum precum, 1754.
