8vo, x. 80 pp. [6] p. ads. Blue cloth with gilt lettered spine and front board, with outline border in gilt and a mounted illustration within a circular gilt stamped border. All edges gilt. The cloth rubbed at the corners and spine ends, ends and corners lightly bumped, spine sunned and a but dulled. The bottom corner of page 33 missing, probably was folded, then detached due to the fragile paper. The centennial bronze medal by Jules Edouard Roine laid-in, in a circular cut-out in the center of the book. One of three versions produced, another edition was produced with silver medals, and a third with gold medals. Together with papers on The Medal: Its Origin and Symbolism by George N.
