Both volumes bound one quarter black cloth with green cloth to boards; gilt decoration to front board and to spine. Illustrated throughout with black and white plates. Previous owner's name to front endpage of both. Hinges and signauters to volumes I starting, however, binding is sound. Some wear to cloth at outer corners and head and heel of spines; spines slightly faded. A little foxing and some dustsoil to the upper edges, browning to pages. Two stains to rear board of volume II.
