Gilt and black borders with intricate gilt border and title to center of front board. Bevelled edges, all edges gilt. Ownership signature to front endpaper. Prelims foxed, clean and bright throughout. Plates and text very clean. A very well kept copy. Binding tight and square. Some expert repairs done but virtually unnoticeable.
