Blue cloth with gilt lettering to the spine. Black topstain; fore and tail edges untrimmed. Illustrated throughout with black and white plates. Some mild shelfwear, spine slightly faded. Stamp to upper edges; fore and tail edges browned with a few light stains. Stamps to endpages; bookplate to the front endpage. Preface scored in pencil. Rear hinge cracked but the binding is sound.
