Contemporary full calf, sides bordered by double gilt fillets, densely gilt spine in compartments with gilt lettered label, marbled endpapers and edges. Binding slightly rubbed at extremities, occasional light marginal foxing, but overall a near fine copy of the Scottish edition of Barker's classic study of ancient Cilicia, better known by the title of the London edition, namely, "Lares and Penates: Or, Cilicia and Its Governors."
