Two volumes. Pp. vi, 13, 142 [plates]; [vi], 36, 143-275 [plates]. Illustrated with 275 plates of text fragments of Assyrian cuneiform tablets, discovered at Sultantepe, a large mound near the modern Turkish city of Urfa. Original cloth over paper covered boards, no d/w's. A couple of corners bumped on volume II, neat ink signature on flyleaves, but otherwise a near fine set.
