Decorative typographic border to title of each pamphlet, woodcut initial letter in each. Housed in a sturdy, custom-made clamshell box by Sangorski and Sutcliffe, of half green morocco with marbled boards and edges, 4 faux raised bands, and gilt-titled red leather spine label, inside tray includes 13 loose, green cloth-covered boards used as "raisers". Spine faded to olive colour, slight tanning to fore- and top edges, bookplate of the great collector, D.G. Mackenzie, with the mounted stag's head of the Seaforth Highlanders, and the motto "Cuidichnrich". On the rear cover in the lower right corner of each pamphlet is Mackenzie's very tiny stamp with the stag horns and initials D.M. and his very tiny, neat ink cataloguing number. Overall, these rare original pamphlets, with a clamshell box, are in very good condition.
