Elephant Folio. Pp. 16. 34 plates. 1851 facsimle and first Sydenham edition. Bound in buckram with gilt spine lettering. Paper scar to the front paste-down endpaper, possibly from a bookplate removal. Text set in double columns, in Latin and English. Lithographed facsimiles of the original plates. Plates 32 and 33 edge-worn and darkened, have been repaired with paper, the other plates in excellent condition. A very good copy.
