London: William Blackwood and Sons, 1863. Leather. Very Good. Item #42428

8 volumes. 1863-1887. 8vo. The Fourth edition. Complete with all maps and plans as called for, many folding, mostly in black and white. Bound in half green morocco over marbled boards. Gilt decorated compartments and lettering right on the leather of two. Top edges gilt and marbled endpapers. The spines rubbed and scuffed in several places, with some light rubbing along the joints, but all boards are firmly attached and the bindings tight and square with no split hinges. Light foxing throughout but with heavier foxing to the endpapers and some plates and plans. Overall a nice clean set.
