Set of 7 volumes. Green cloth, gilt, sunned edges and spines, lightly bumped corners, head and heel. Vol. 6 top of spine holding but loosely. All edges gilt. (c1865). Former owner's name on front free endpaper. Interior shows occasional minor wear. 4 pages of advertisements at the books' rear. Contains over 300 colour plates of plants, all present with protective tissues. Pratt was an expert in botany in the Victorian era, when flowering plants and ferns were used for decoration as well as being used by pharmacies.
