Later edition. 8vo., xv, 155, [20]pp - publisher's catalogue dated 1893, with illustrated ads from 1882-1892. Green cloth with gilt device to the front board and gilt lettered spine, corners and spine ends bumped, with light rubbing to the boards. Engraved bookplate of J. Hamilton Leigh to paste-down, and another, of A. T. Loyd, and a bookseller's ticket. Light foxing to the half-title, text block fore-edge and a couple more pages, the book clean throughout otherwise and the binding tight and square. Tissue-guarded ills., and a 2 page map. Clean and tight copy. From the library of Harry G. Lumsfeld, biologist and research scientist with Ontario's Ministry of Natural Resources. In 2004 Harry Lumsfeld became a Member of the Order of Canada for his outstanding contribution to wildlife management and conservation.
