8vo. xvi, 585pp., 7 plates, 17p. catalogue. Volume XXII. Original brown cloth with gilt titles to spine. Spine faded, gilt a little dulled, crack in the cloth at the rear joint, with some light and faint staining to the rear board. Spine ends and corners a little bumped, interiors fresh and almost entirely unopened. Presentation slip from the British Museum tipped-in at the front hinge. Coloured plates in fine condition. A nice copy. From the library of Harry G. Lumsfeld, biologist and research scientist with Ontario's Ministry of Natural Resources. In 2004 Harry Lumsfeld became a Member of the Order of Canada for his outstanding contribution to wildlife management and conservation.
