8vo. 231pp. With Twenty-two full page plates in colour. Orange cloth with gilt lettered front board and spine. Top edge gilt. Spine very sunned with a couple of very faint water spots around the spine foot, with light deterioration of the cloth at the spine and edges. Engraved bookplate of Harry Forbes Witherby to paste-down. Clean throughout and the binding tight and square. Illustrations with their guards present. A very good copy overall. From the library of Harry G. Lumsfeld, biologist and research scientist with Ontario's Ministry of Natural Resources. In 2004 Harry Lumsfeld became a Member of the Order of Canada for his outstanding contribution to wildlife management and conservation.
