8vo. xii, [2], 510pp. Green cloth front cover and spine bound-in at the end. Full olive morocco with gilt decorated boards, stamped M. C. M. to the bottom of the front board. Five raised bands with gilt borders to the compartments, with floral devices to the middle of each and gilt lettering to the second. Light scuff near the spine foot, and very light rubbing to the spine head. Purple moire doublures and matching moire endpapers, with wide floral dentelles. Ink gift inscription to the first blank, else clean throughout. Bound by MacDonald, NY., and so signed on the rear leather turn-in. The binding dated 1900. Nice copy.
