Folio [535 x 350mm], [8] xvi, 206, [2]. With 51 engraved maps and plates, many of which are folding. Rebacked in lighter calf than the remaining leather, over marble boards. Spine rubbed and nicked in several places, with some rubbing and scuffing to the spine bands and spine ends. The leather to the corners not replaced, the corners only built up a little and strengthened, edge-wear and major scuffing to marbled paper over boards. 2 bookplates to the paste-down, one of Thomas Weld-Blundell. Endpapers a little soiled, with light spotting to title-page and to some of the leaves. The large, almost 6 foot plan has light tide lines along the bottom margin, very shallow, the rest of the plates are in excellent condition and very clean. 1 of the plates is a letterpress table, the rest of the plates are maps, plans and illustrations of antiquities.
