8vo. Pp. 100, frontis, illus., 2 folding coloured maps, 8 col. plates (1 folding). Folding plate is a panorama of Montreal. Light foxing to the text, heavier to the plates, middle gathering pulling away but still holding. Half-title inserted on a tab. In original blue cloth, pebbled, with borders stamped in blind and gilt titles to the front, light bumping around the edges, and rubbing around the spine ends. Good copy overall.
