13 volumes. 8vo. Bound in full nineteenth-century tree calf, with gilt stamped compartments, gilt title on green leather label and the volume numbering stamped in gilt right to the leather. The edges and corner rubbed, some corners more worn, outside hinges rubbed and lightly chipped but all boards and tight and firmly attached, none starting or coming loose. Frontis portrait and endpapers a little foxed, engraved bookplate in each volume. The Second edition. In thirteen volumes, complete with all the engravings and folding plates. Very clean throughout, the spine label on volume 2 is chipped, and the volumes with light to moderate wear, but overall a very good set.
