Three volumes in white Nigerian goatskin decorated in gilt. Top edges gilt. Housed in wooden slipcase with iridescent like covered cloth. Edition limited to 1000 copies of which this is #201. This is a facsimile copy of the original edition of 1897 one of the great illustrated books of the 19th century by Walter Crane. Volume 2 with a very small nick to the spine head, with a couple small light tears in back of the slipcase, and a very small abrasion to one edge. The fore-edge text block of one volume with a faint pencil or ink line, but very unobtrusive. In all, a near fine set.
