Fore-edges a little darkened, corners with very light wear, and light chipping to the spine ends, with evidence of some repairs, and some general wear around the spine. Bookplate of Helen Hull Monnette and a gift inscription to the front endpaper, with a little mark of glue beside it. The binding tight and the book clean throughout, with beautiful pochoir illustrations throughout by the author. First American Edition.
