Periodical. Magazine. 4to. Pp. 92. First US Periodical appearance of James Bond. With numerous illustrations and photographs. Housed in a cloth chemise portfolio with title in gilt to the spine. Lightly toned throughout, with light edge-wear and light chipping, with creasing to the spine. Very good condition overall. A condensed version of the novel Goldfinger, a 'Saga Book Special', which appears on pages 23-7 and 56-69. The text is abridged, with illustrations by Barye Phillips including one full-page colour plate. This is the first American periodical appearance and the first US illustrated edition.
