London: Hodder & Stoughton and Jonathan Cape, 1962. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good / Very Good. Item #47782

First Editions. The Harry Palmer novels. All are generally in very good condition, in price clipped dust jackets. The Ipcress File with ugly price clipping job to inside corner, resulting in a short tear and three creases that are visible on the front cover, corners and spine ends lightly nicked, with light yellowing to the top edge. First impression. Horse Under Water, 1963. First impression. Price clipped, jacket a lightly yellowed at the top edges, a few small and almost invisible clear tape repairs to the edges at the inside to mend a couple of short rips, ink gift inscription to the verso of the front endpaper, and a hard pencil erasure to the top right corner of the title-page. Includes the Crossword slip. Funeral in Berlin, 1964. First impression. Price clipped jacket, very bright and in excellent condition, just a couple of very tiny and light brown stains to the spine and an ink name to the half-title. Billion Dollar Brain, 1966. First impression. The usual little and faint scratches to this jacket, with light nicking to the spine ends and one harder scratch to the rear pane, still a great jacket and nicer than usually encountered. The boards with light nicking to the spine ends and once corner lightly bumped, but otherwise the books clean and tight, and overall a very good set. Three of these were made into successful movies starring Michael Caine.
