Contemporary binding by Bayntun in full red morocco with gilt stamped borders, front and rearm with the title in gilt to top edge of upper cover, spine compartments and lettering in gilt, all edges gilt and marbled endpapers, stamped Bayntun on front turn-in. Bookplate of Frederick G. Kirby to front endpaper verso, half-title darkened at the edges, clean throughout. A few marks to the rear board, joints rubbed and colour touched-up, the spine a little dulled/darkened, but overall a clean and tight copy.
