10 volumes. Edition of 1000 sets on Handmade Paper, this being no. 480. Bound in quarter green morocco over green cloth boards, with gilt stamped device to the front board of each and gilt lettering to the spine. Top edges are gilt, other edges untrimmed. The interiors are bright and clean and the bindings tight. Boards a little scuffed and marked, a couple with some uneven fading and some spotting, volume 1 and 10 boards a little soiled, with faint dampstaining and a little grubby but not that bad. The top edges of the leather dry and rubbed, with scuffs and nicks to the leather of most spines, corners bumped. Vol. 5 & 7 spine heads chipped, others just rubbed or dry. Boards on vol. 1 & 10 the worst looking (pictured) but overall sill a good clean set.
