Green cloth, light bumps to the spine ends and upper cover top edge, with a small black mark near the spine foot, but otherwise a clean and tight copy. Pp. xxiv, 431; xxii, 265, 27. 265 plates and appx. 500 text illustrations. Books and jackets excellent, slipcase for the two a little sunned. The critical catalogue in combination with the Bollingen lectures provides the most authoritative work on Poussin's painting. The generous size of the reproductions in the Bollingen plate volume supplements the small catalogue illustrations (often 10 to the page).
