The Almanach de Gotha is a directory of Europe's royalty and higher nobility, also including the major governmental, military, and diplomatic corps, as well as statistical data by country. It was published annually from 1785 to 1944. In the publisher's ivory coated paper-covered decorative card binding. A fine copy, with the original slipcase of brown paper-covered thin boards and a printed paper title label. Housed in a custom green cloth clamshell box with a gilt-stamped green leather spine label.
