8vo. pp. 272. Blue cloth boards, lettered in black on the spine and upper cover. Corners lightly bumped and rubbed; spine ends with minor wear and some light spotting along the spine. Internally clean and bright. The dust jacket is present, with several chips to spine ends and corners, along with a few closed tears and creases. Inscribed by Stephen Leacock on the front endpaper to [F.W.] Tisdale, quite possibly the railway surveyor after whom the town of Tisdale, Saskatchewan was named. Tisdale played a role in surveying the region during the early 20th century, and the town was named in his honor around 1904-1905 due to his contributions to railway development and mapping in the area.
