No date, c. 1895. Reproduced in photography By Max Platz, Chicago, Illinois. Original folding green cloth chemise lettered and decorated in gilt, silk ties detached but present. Contains 21 loose etchings by Phiz, Barnard, Cruikshank and others, with 16 loose albumen photographic reproductions after illustrations, by Max Platz, Chicago, with a printed cover with the title and an excerpt from the story depicting the illustration. A couple of these printed leaves with a small stain, but otherwise clean and in excellent condition. Scarce Dickens item.
