Finely bound by Bayntun of Bath in half green smooth calf over green linen boards, the spine with crimson and maroon gilt-lettered title labels, compartments tooled in gilt with bordered ship devices, and date stamped at the foot. A few very minor nicks; otherwise fresh and bright. Bookplate to front pastedown; interior notably clean, with only slight foxing toward the end. Henry Sotheran bookseller's stamp to the recto of the front endpaper. A handsomely bound example of this uncommon illustrated edition.
