8vo, pp. xviii, 150, [3] - index, [1] (ads). Bound by Harrison & Sons in full vellum, spine lettered in gilt, with small gilt-stamped diamond ornaments at the fore-edge corners and floral dentelles. Outer board corners slightly bowed; first blank and half-title lightly foxed; otherwise clean throughout. A scarce reprint of the translation by Richard Francis Burton, first issued by the Kama Shastra Society in 1885, following an earlier limited printing of 1873.
