Tall 8vo, pp. 96, [6]. Tan levant morocco with a lovely inlaid morocco design on upper cover, with a small decorative motif to the spine and gilt spine lettering. All edges gilt, with blind-stamped accents to the edges of the boards, the fore-edge, bottom and top, marbled endpapers, and wide turn-ins decorated with floral corner devices and gilt tooling along the edges. Triple coloured page marker. Original wrappers bound in, housed in a leather-lined slipcase with marbled paper exterior. A fine design binding by P. Ruban, signed and dated 1906. From a total edition of 400 copies, this being no. 65, one of 80 printed on Japan paper, with 26 etchings after Adrien Moreau in three states. Additionally, an original watercolour by Swiss painter, illustrator, and book artist Louis Dunki decorates the half-title. A beautiful book, a pristine copy.
