Publisher's grey cloth with gilt titles and lines to the spine, top edge rough gilt, others untrimmed. Housed in the original marbled paper slipcase. The book basically in fine condition, the slipcase nice and tight, but with little breaks to a couple of lightly bumped corners. Really sharp copy overall. Designed by Francis Meynell. Unlike the standard edition, it contains decorations by B.S. Biro. The binding is by Leighton-Straker. Additionally, this copy is signed by the illustrator to the colophon, under the limitation, using his more familiar name Val Biro. With contributions by Graham Greene, E.M. Forster, T.S. Eliot, Maxim Gorky, Andre Gide and others.
