Illustrated with photogravures, colour plates from photographs by the author, halftone drawings, and maps. 4to. Pp. 170. With 3 colour illustrations including frontispiece, 6 halftone illustrations, 9 photogravure plates, and 6 maps. Quarter blue cloth over blue paper boards, with paper title labels to upper cover and spine. The lower corners are bumped and worn, with other corners and spine ends lightly bumped; otherwise fresh and bright throughout. All plates are present with their original tissue guards. Bright, tight, and scarce in the dust jacket. The dust jacket is sunned, with small chips, creasing, and short tears at the edges and corners, and wear along the spine, particularly at midsection. Overall, a scarce copy in this condition and a very attractive example.
