12 volumes. Half brown morocco over lighter brown linen boards, with top edges gilt. Spines gilt-stamped with lettering and decorative devices in compartments. Light rubbing to spine ends; no chips or loss, except for a small chip to the spine head of Vol. 9. Bindings tight and square throughout. Each volume with the bookplate and ink stamp of previous owner on the front endpapers. Some foxing to the blanks and to the first and last few leaves of each volume. Otherwise, a clean and attractive set. Complete with maps and plans.
