Wear along spine hinges with heavier wear to spine foot and missing a chip at the head of the spine, showing tops of gatherings. Paper spine mostly preserved and lettering all present. Foxing to wraps, mostly at the edges and spine, no tears to the covers, only a few nicks and scuffs, front image wonderfully preserved, sporadic foxing only throughout. Black stamp price correction over one shilling to 6D. Colour frontis and twelve [12] numbered illustrations in black and white. The binding is very tight and square. Nice condition.
