Bound in full dark navy morocco leather with looped border to the boards in gilt, gilt dentelles, gilt stamped spine bands and floral devices to the compartments, with gilt titling on two. All edges gilt, marbled endpapers and an early engraved bookplate of Joshua Cooper with a belted family crest of a man holding a chalice and the motto "Deo Patria Rege". Apart for foxing to the plates and light rubbing to the binding, this is an excellent copy in a very attractive binding.
