8vo. xxii, [1], 407, [2]- blanks. With 2 blanks at the beginning, half-title and frontis portrait. Half green morocco over marbled boards, date stamped in gilt to the spine foot, with gilt lettering on two compartments. Boards scuffed and edges with light wear, a few scratches to the spine and wear along the spine joints. Bookplate and call number from the "Society of the Holy Child Jesus, 1846" to the front paste-down over an older engraved bookplate, with an ink call number to the top right corner of the first blank. The binding is tight and square and the contents very clean. Illustrated with a number of engraved head and tail-pieces throughout.
