2 volumes. Folio. Pp. 429; 431. Volume 1 in original burgundy pebbled cloth with blind stamped borders to the front board and gilt lettering, with gilt lettering and decorations on the spine. Several bubbled water spots to the front board, spine sunned, with wear to the cloth at the spine head and foot and worn at the corners. Crease to the front endpaper and light foxing, else clean throughout and the binding tight. Volume in blue cloth with gilt lettering to the front board and spine. The board corners a little worn, cloth worn at the spine head and foot, with a tear to the cloth about 2 inches in length to the spine head and faint water splashing to the front board and one corner. Cracks in the paper over the hinges, endpapers a little foxed, but clean throughout but for light water staining to the bottom edge of the text block, showing very little at the bottom edges of the margin. Overall a good clean set, complete, with all the illustrations in good condition.
