Thick small 4to. [viii], 728; [xxii], 431, 72 p., with engraved title-page. 2 volumes in 1. Contemporary vellum with manuscript title to the very head of the spine, very faint, with a chipped leather spine label lettered in gilt, date stamp in gilt to the foot. Vellum a bit spotty and darkened from age, the boards a little bowed but generally clean. The paste-downs are cracked along the vellum turn-ins, with an engraved bookplate to the front paste-down endpaper. Clean and relatively spot free throughout and the binding tight and square. First edition of this English/Dutch, Dutch/English dictionary.
